Celebrating 40 years of service in style!

The Arnold Family, owners of Western Storage, proudly celebrated their 40th year in business by hosting 3 birthday bashes at their major terminals across Western Canada.

“We were determined to kick off our 40th year by thanking our loyal customers with an old fashioned birthday party." said Sandra Tucker, one of three owners of Western Storage. “We do really appreciate all the support and loyalty our customers have given us over the years”.

The exact date of Western Storage turning 40 was June 2nd, 2010. To honor this date, Ross, Gerald and Sandra coordinated the events to coincide with Winnipeg’s party commencing on June 2nd, Calgary on June 8th and Edmonton/Sherwood Park occurring two days later on June 10th.  Winnipeg’s party was also graced by Jerry & Verna Arnold who started Western Storage some 40 years ago.  Click here to view a photo gallery of images from each party!

Basically Babies is a registered charity that works to provide for the basic outfitting needs of newborn babies born to families in extreme need in the greater Edmonton area.  Our Western Storage facility in Edmonton recently donated two 27' pup trailers to help them raise over $15,000 at a garage sale held on May 28 & 29th.

The 5th Annual Western Storage Hockey Playoff Pool was another smashing success!  Every year, customers, former customers and vendors of Western Storage are invited - free of charge - to enter our hockey playoff pool contest.  This year was the 5th year in a row and we had a record 129 entrants.  This year's pool was exciting as several upsets in the NHL finals kept the drama level high throughout the playoffs.

Our overall winner – Gene Coutu - also known as Anything Goes is the overall winner of our hockey pool with 266 points. Gene won a $250 gift card to his favourite restaurant in Sherwood Park called “The SawMill”.
